I joined dA on my first account 6 years ago as
. I only had a mouse and MSPaint at the time, sneaking time on my mom and Grandma's computers to draw. ewe
A few selections from there, all extremely old. >w>
I can't remember if that was before or after I made my first Youtube account, RedXlllFanatic. I mainly made slideshows with songs and stuff. The good ol' simple times. :'3
Anyways, after discovering Oekaki's (Smergles Playground specifically; it's still up to this day), my art got a little better . . . I think. owo;;
First pic uploaded to this account. I thought it was the most amazing thing ever. >w>
After that, I just uploaded a ton of art. Every little thing I uploaded. e3e
And then I discovered Paint.Net and GIMP. >w>
After a mountain full of art, I came across Sai and have used it ever since. e3e
My art has improved considerably since I started, but i'm still definitely not where I want to be. owo
And I guess you could say that's my dA story. >w>

Hello! A little bit ago, I mentioned in a status post how I found myself the new leader of an old Group? Well, i've decided to bring it back to life!

To highlight artists that are unrecognized, and to advance the skill set of others.

Artist features for August 2019 based on suggestions! I'll try and do this once a month~
I tried choosing just 20 artists, which meant I had to cut a lot out (which is why this is a bit late aaaa). Next month
i'll be a bit more picky and maybe add a specific theme for the feature. We'll just have to wait and see!
If you see a piece you like, please check out the artist! I picked them from the suggestions based on the
following criteria:

Hello! It's been a very, very long time since i've done an Artist Feature. I think the last one was in 2014?
Either way, it's something i'd like to start up again! Go ahead and recommend some of your favorite artists who you feel haven't really been noticed yet. Here are the rules:
Must have less than 2000 Watchers
Have at least 10 pieces uploaded
Account is older than one month
After about a week (or if I get enough recommendations before then), i'll make another journal featuring one piece by each artist!
Feel free to recommend yourself or a friend - artists that don't get featured will probably get featured in a later journal.
